Team Captain - Jeff Rhodes
In 1992, Ric Mason taught Jeff how to crack an egg and not burn a hamburger. By the end of
that summer, Jeff was barbecuing chickens and steaks, 100s at a time. In 2000, Jeff got a wild
hair and decided that it would be a good idea to cook a whole hog - in the ground. He was
right, it was a good idea. Many private parties, public gatherings, tailgate parties, and BBQ
events later, the BBQ is still flowing.
First Mate - Mike "The Pork Nazi" Hickam
Mike can shovel coal and stay up late with the best of them, but his real talent is portion control.
He knows when and how to say"no pork for you!"
Porter - Glen Merritt
The ship's porter holds the ship's valuables. As a financial planner, Glen does this in real life,
too. More importantly, he grew up in South Georgia and knows how to smoke hogs.
Helmsman and Navigator - Randy Branch
The token bulldawg English major, Randy could probably plot a course using celestial
navigation while he applies marinate. If we can keep him out of traffic accidents, he serves up
a good butt.
